Sizing
Width
Using a measuring tape, carefully measure the width of your nail beds in millimeters and write the results down from pinky to thumb for each hand. Alternatively, use sellotape and draw a mark at the edges, then measure against a ruler.
The accuracy of this method means less product wastage and saves me time while creating every set of nails by hand rather than selling you bulk, machine printed, cheap nails at a high cost.
Press on lengths
Length
Measuring the length of your nail beds is important when considering what length and shape you want your press on nails to be. This is the area from your cuticle to the end of your nail.
If you prefer to keep your natural nails a longer length, then its important to know that ordering a short length will mean having to file your natural nail down to a shorter length than the press on.
A shorter press on nail will mean forgoing certain shapes that need more length.

Information
What are they made of
The nails themselves are made of soft gel for these reasons -
flexibility, easily worn and removed without breaking or loosing shape, making them great for reusing.
Lightweight, comfortable feel with a thin area surrounding the cuticle for a natural, seamless look.
I use a mix of vegan and HEMA-free gel polishes.
Never use Acetone on soft gel press on nails as it will melt and dissolve them.
What comes with your order
To ensure you get the best wear from your press on nails, prepping your natural nails for adhesive is the most important step.
Your order includes a small nail file to shape and remove length from your natural nails and also make adjustments to your press on nails if needed - should your nail measurements for sizing be accurate, this is highly unlikely.
You'll have an orangewood cuticle stick to push back any excess cuticle - this creates a neater fit and nicer look.
The buffing block included in your order will remove any dead skin cells and oils from the surface of your nail - the less your adhesive has to compete with the better!
Your alcohol wipes then clean everything from your nails that are now ready for either glue tabs for short wear (up to one week) and nail glue for longer wear (up to two weeks).
Removal
The same thing that inhibits proper application is what makes for a successful removal - water and oil on the natural nail.
Using a bowl full of warm water, add a tablespoon of oil (any household cooking oil will work) and a small amount of dish washing liquid and gently mix together.
Take your orangewood cuticle stick and gently run it along the edges of your press on where its attached to your natural nail, gently lifting when you feel give and never when you don't - you want to create a pocket for the water solution to soak between your natural nail and press on, this will slowly dissolve the bond of the glue instead of prying your nails off and taking natural nail with them.
Repeat the process of soaking your nails for a few minutes and lifting with the cuticle stick until they are fully removed.
Clean your natural nails of any residual glue by gently using your buffer - not your file.
Clean your press on nails of glue tabs by drying them with a paper towel and then rubbing the glue off with a finger.
Clean your press on nails of glue by returning them to the same solution used to remove the nails, remaking if the water is cold. Using your fingers, gently rub underwater to dissolve the glue - if this method isn't working for larger areas, gently use your buffer.
